OUTING TO THE MORGAN MOTOR WORKS, MALVERN

13th OCTOBER 2010

Your committee has arranged a trip to the Morgan Motor Works in Malvern for Wednesday 13th October 2010.

Members will enjoy a full guided tour of the factory witnessing the skills of craftsmen and women hand making Morgan Sports Cars and see the exciting new developments and cutting edge technology which goes into today's Morgan Sports Cars.

This trip has been regarded as excellent and was top of the choices on our recent survey.

Itinerary will be as follows:-

• 0930 Depart Stamages Lane car park ( Beavis Coach)
• 1030 approx. Arrive Morgan Works. Tour of works
• 1300 approx. Depart works
• 1315 approx . Lunch break at Swan at Newlands
• 1445 approx. Depart for Painswick
• 1600 approx . Arrive back at Painswick

The works tour will include a short talk on arrival ( coffee is available by machine at £1 a cup). The tour will be in two separate groups and will last about 2 hours.

The Morgan Works have recommended the Swan at Newlands for a lunch break. They can cope with a party of 45, but it may be necessary to pre order meals/bar snacks. If this is necessary members attending will be contacted nearer to the date.

Cost of the trip will be £18 per head, to include coach, gratuity ,and Morgan Tour. Lunch is at members own expense.

Member and wives/partners and widows may apply. The group is limited to about 45 and the closing date will be 29th September. If places are still available after this date we will open the trip to non members.
